WWW Wednesday (27th August)

WWW Wednesday is a weekly reading event hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading.

To play along you have to just answer three questions…

1.   What are you Currently Reading?

2.   What did you recently finish reading?

              3.   What do you think you will read next?

Here is my Answers:

What are you currently Reading? Well, I am reading “The Krishna Key” by Ashwin Sanghi. Though it is the 3rd book of Ashwin Sanghi still I am reading it first because one of my friends told me that if I will like this book then i will also like his other books. Honestly saying i have started enjoying this book and simultaneously I am reading “The Five People You meet In Heaven” by Mitch Albom.

What do you recently finish reading? I had just finished “Till The Last Breath” by Durjoy Datta and here is my review Till The Last Breath By Durjoy Datta.

What do you think you will read next? Since I am enjoying Ashwin Sanghi’s writing so I would like to read his Chanakya’s Chant next
followed by Rozabal Line.

New Hope- Our Little Help Will Give Them Million Hopes

At Adruta Ashram

Being the best miracle of God still some of us are not able to enjoy their life to the fullest. It’s not because they don’t want to enjoy but because they don’t have anyone to enjoy with. People say they are doomed, but are they really ill-fated?? The straight answer is No, because we can’t blame someone for his/her fate. Instead of commenting on them we should do something for them.

From a recent statistics, it has been stated as nearly 20 million orphans are there in India. After reading this article one think stroked my mind and that is “being a civilized person what i am doing for them?” you may have the same question in your mind. Well, here is the answer “New Hope”. It’s a NGO which has been opened or initiated by “Amarjeet Mohanty, Bhimsen Sahoo, Somanath Chinara, Durgaprasad Subudhi , Anasuya Sahu Sharma”.

These people had started their journey from an Orphanage named as “Adruta Ashram, Puri” on the occasion of Friendship Day and celebrated this day with them by giving gifts and also tied friendship bands. For this they had also been praised by the local newspaper and now this NGO have more than 70 members including me.

Members Of this NGO at Adruta Ashram

The main Motto of this organization is to help these children as far as possible. It’s the time friends to take some valuable steps to help them and make them believe that we are there with them at every up and downs of their life. We have to be their puissance. They should not feel like left out, so we have to do something reasonable.

Till The Last Breath By Durjoy Dutta

Blurb Of The Book:

The story revolves around five protagonist named as Arman Kashyap, Pihu Malhotra, Zarah Mirza, Dushyant Roy, Kajal Khurana. Pihu and Dushyant both are admitted in a Renowned Hospital in which Arman is an ALS specialist and Zarah is an intern. Pihu is a brilliant 19 year old medical student, suffering from an incurable, fatal disease hurtling towards a slow, painful death. She counts every extra breath as a blessing. The other is a wasteful 25 year old drug addict whose every organ system is slowly shutting down. He can’t wait to get rid of his body- to him, the sooner the better.

Two reputed doctors, fighting their own demons from the past, try everything to keep these two patients alive, even putting their medical licenses at risk.

So, can both the doctors save their respective patients life or like Romeo-Juliet two more love stories will die and become history???

My views about this book:

After reading I too had a love story by Ravinder Singh, I wanted to read another novel of same kind. So after hearing a lot from others I decided to read this one.

One reason for which I like this book is because the author had created two love stories simultaneously, one is a simple love story and the other one is a love triangle. I love the way author had portrayed each characters. Especially I like Pihu’s character very much. She has got a very inspiring character. The line which I like the most is “Days are not important, years are. Years are not important, experiences are. Experiences are not important, lives are.”

The first few chapters didn't connect me well but I wanted to read the whole book only to know Durjoy Dutta’s writing and honestly saying after few chapters it didn't disappoint me. While reading last few chapters, I had Goosebumps on my flesh.  The climax is really a convincing one.

I would like to give 4 out of 5 stars to this novel which made me sob at some points.

Paneer Mammamia

Though I had made this item previously but this time I had decided to give this a name as “Paneer Mammamia”. This dish is full of flavors. Cooking time is maximum 25 minutes.

Ingredients :-

1:   Paneer 200 gm
2:   Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
3:   Yogurt (Dahi)
4:   Red chilies
5:   Coriander seeds (Dhania)
6:   Fenugreek seeds (Methi)
7:   Black pepper
8:   fennel seeds
9:   Black pepper
10: Salt
11: Cashew nuts
12: Onion
13: Green Bell pepper (Capsicum)

Cooking Procedure:

1: Take a bowl, add Paneer, 3 Full spoons of Yogurt, Haldi powder, salt, mix them and keep it aside.

2: Heat a frying pan with medium heat, add finely chopped onion, bell pepper and salt followed by 2 spoons of oil and stir till it becomes slightly darker, then add tomato sauce and keep it aside in a different bowl.

3: In the same pan roast Fennel seeds, coriander seeds, Fenugreek seeds and Black pepper till seeds become darker, then remove them to a paper and crush it by a rolling pin.

4: Heat the frying pan with low heat and then add 5/6 full spoons of oil and then stir fry the paneer mixture till it becomes light red (Don’t overcook it as paneer will become dry).

5: Then add the crushed spices to it and mix well followed by adding onion and bell pepper mixture.

6: Add roasted cashew nuts and fried red chilies for garnishing.

I had made this dish and got a lot of complements but I did a mistake by heating the pan with high flame and the paneer mixture becomes dark, so take care of flame.

Enjoy with friends and family…

My review:

The Unwanted Shadow is the second novel of Bhaskaryya Dekka. As a fresh writer he did justice with his book. After reading a good review about this book I had placed an order for this book and completed it in one go.

The kind of words he used and scenarios that he created is really convincing. The narration style is simple but effective to hold the readers. You will start clapping automatically after reading the climax . This book defines the word "Patience" very distinctly and reminds me of the movie named “shawshank redemption”.

I would give 4.5 out of 5 stars to this amazing novel.

BEST FRIENDS FOREVER

Clicked By Me

Since I got my consciousness I have heard that “God couldn't be with us everywhere, so he created mothers”. I want to add a saying to this “God can’t always saves us from falling down, so he created Friends”. I don’t know the exact meaning of Friendship, actually I can’t give the exact definition but here I have some scenarios where i think one can get to know what does friendship means. In each stage of my life I got different definition for this enchanting word.
Friendship is,
Ø  Sharing a single chocolate among ten friends.

Ø  Sharing your lunch box with your best friends.

Ø  Knowing that your friend doesn't have any extra pen, still asking him/her only to irritate him/her.

Ø  Sharing your new specs among your friends to click pics and then laughing unconsciously after seeing those pictures.

Ø  Sharing 1 liter water among more than 10 friends.

Ø   Making different sounds when his/her crush enters into the class.

Ø  Collecting money from each individual to buy a single ball.

Ø  Making the same mistake again and again only to make him/her irritate.

Ø  Asking for treat for silly reasons like for new pen, new shirt, exam paper clear etc.

Ø  Asking him/her that is she/he your new girlfriend/boyfriend when we see him/her with others.

Ø  Asking him/her about a girl/boy only to know their feeling for them.

Ø  Knowing that his/her friends are planning for surprise birthday party for him/her, still acting like he/she doesn't know about it.

Ø    Playing tic-tac-toe, bingo (k-map) even sitting on the first bench.

In our life we come across many individuals, some of them stay with us forever, some of them leave us by giving a foot print and some of them vanish like they don’t even exist in our world. Sometimes we can’t even share our problems with our parents, but we can share each and every problem with our friends. Having friends in life makes us powerful to face any situation.

I have made a lot of friends in every stage of my life and some of them became very special to me. I want to say all of you that thanks for being in my life. You guys are like my family. I can’t even think my single day without you guys. Those moments which we had shared are just like vitamin tablets for me. You guys make me smile in every possible way and being with you I have also learn a lot of things. I want to thank you all for increasing my life span (laughing is the best way to increase your life span, right!!!)…

At last I want to say that “I have some Idiot friends who will be definitely going to cry on my funeral”.

KICK MOVIE REVIEW

Initial Release:  July 25, 2014

Director: Sajid Nadiadwala

Cast: Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda, Nawazuddin Siddique, Mithun           Chakraborty, Archana puran Singh.

Story Line:-

The story starts with a scene where our Kapil’s onscreen wife Sumona eloped with a guy and Devi helps them to marry and there he meets Shaina a Psychiatric and fall in love with her and eventually Shaina also falls for Devi. But Devi can’t stick to a certain job that’s why he is quite unlucky in case of women but to marry the love of his life he decides to make money by hook or by crook and gets away from Shaina’s life.

After one year, Himanshu a cop comes to Poland to catch a high profile robber DEVIL and there he meets his childhood friend Shaina and finds that she has had her heart broken by a guy named Devi. But here comes the most interesting part of the movie and that is Devi and Devil is the same person. So does Devi is doing all this to make money or something else????

My Review:-

Devi Lal Singh (Played by Salman Khan) is the main protagonist and quite a fun loving, adventurous and audacious guy and I love his character because of his inclination towards the society to do something meaningful.

Shaina Mehra (Played by Jacqueline Fernandez) is an aesthetic, simple girl who did her part well and I think the director should have given her some more lines as she was amazing throughout the movie.

Himanshu Tyagi (Played by Randeep Hooda) is quite an honest officer. Though he is sharing the same stage with Salman Khan still he manages to grab audience attention with his superb acting.

Shiv Gazra (Played by Nawazuddin Siddique) is playing a character of a corrupt business man. His presence in this movie is just like icing on the cake and I found his character is more impressive than Salman khan but still I am quite unhappy with his part as it is quite short.

Kick movie is the debut of Sajid Nadiadwala as a director and is the remake of a Tamil movie of same name. I found this movie more interesting than its Tamil version because in the Tamil version Ravi Teja didn’t give his best but here Salman Khan’s did his part very well.

The best thing I like about this movie is the eye catching actions and locations. Though the plot is impressive but the screenplay is not so admirable as I had expected a lot from Chetan Bhagat.

One thing I hate about this movie is when suddenly the Chulbul Pandey comes into the picture. Really I hate this... But if you are a Salman Khan's fan they you are going to enjoy each and every moment of this movie. In all total its a one time must watch movie. After watching this movie you are going to look for KICK in everything.

I wanted to give this movie a 3.5 stars but due to Nawazuddin Siddique i am giving 4 out of 5 stars.
